On November 12 we organised a seminar on Quality Management at Swedbank HQ in Stockholm.
The seminar speakers presented the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and the EFQM Excellence Model, a holistic framework, which was developed to be applied to any organization, regardless of size or sector and to help to increase the competitiveness of European organizations.
SPEAKERS
Evaldas Darskus, PhD in the area of biophysics, is ISO9001, EFQM and EQUASS certified auditor and assessor. Evaldas has more than 20 years’ experience in shaping organizations strategies and pushing operational efficiency boundaries.
Valdas Ausiejus is EFQM certified assessor since 2012. As an assessor Valdas participated in 3 EFQM European Excellence Award assessments and 2 Recognised for Leadership assessments. Valdas also has conducted more than 10 internal EFQM assessments within Swedbank Group.
Michael Westher is a member of SQI staff, responsible for marketing and all activities related to National centre for business excellence in Sweden, which has more than 100 members, represented by a cross industry group of Swedish companies and organizations.
The event and panel discussion was moderated by the LPS Club member Oleg Smertin. Oleg is a certified EFQM assessor and Project Management Professional. Oleg has more that 20 years of practical management experience in managing various functions in such well known international companies as TeliaSonera, IBM and Swedbank.
The seminar was opened by the Ambassador of Lithuania Eitvydas Bajarunas.
